Overview
HoloWorld used PayAI as the payment facilitator behind their first x402-powered NFT pass mint on HoloLaunch. 3,000 FIGHT Passes sold at 50 USDC each, totaling $150,000 in stablecoin payments settled instantly on-chain, with zero payment failures.
The Challenge: Mint NFT passes quickly and reliably
HoloWorld was preparing to launch FightID as the first project on HoloLaunch, their token launch platform. The mint involved 3,000 digital passes at 50 USDC each, and they needed a payment system that could process thousands of stablecoin transactions instantly on-chain, work within a KYC-authenticated environment, and deliver a single-tap payment experience for users.
Building custom blockchain payment infrastructure would have been slow and unnecessary. HoloWorld needed a standardized payment rail with a proven facilitator that could plug directly into HoloLaunch.
The Solution: x402 Payments using the PayAI payment facilitator
HoloWorld adopted the x402 payment protocol with PayAI as their facilitator.
x402 is an open payment standard that turns web requests into native stablecoin payment flows, originally conceived around the HTTP 402 "Payment Required" status code.

In this architecture, the facilitator is the layer that abstracts all blockchain complexity away from the application. PayAI filled that role for HoloLaunch, handling on-chain operations, wallet infrastructure, and multi-chain logic so HoloWorld didn't have to.
How the payment flow worked
For users, the experience was a single tap. They created an account on HoloLaunch, passed KYC and eligibility checks, connected their wallet, and confirmed a 50 USDC payment. Each completed payment resulted in an x402 NFT representing their FIGHT Pass, convertible into FIGHT ICO allocations upon TGE.

Under the hood, that tap triggered a precise sequence. HoloLaunch sent the payment payload to PayAI's /verify endpoint, where PayAI validated signatures, amounts, and nonces to prevent replay and ensure idempotency. Once verified, HoloLaunch triggered the /settle endpoint, and PayAI submitted the transaction to the blockchain, monitored confirmation, and returned the result. All within seconds.
HoloLaunch retained full control over authentication, KYC, regional compliance, and pass issuance. PayAI handled everything on the payment and settlement side. Neither layer needed to understand the internals of the other.
Because payments ran through the standard x402 rail, all activity was also visible on x402scan.com, giving participants and builders a verifiable, neutral view of transactions. FightID became the first project to show x402 activity tied to a token-style project.
x402 payment flow integration in less than 2 minutes
PayAI operates as an x402 facilitator with a consistent, standardized API. For any merchant or developer looking to accept stablecoin payments through x402, integration comes down to two endpoints: /verify and /settle.

There is no need to build custom blockchain infrastructure, manage RPC connections, or handle wallet operations. The resource server simply advertises its payment requirements, and PayAI handles payload validation, on-chain submission, confirmation monitoring, and error handling.
PayAI also provides multi-chain support, so merchants and developers are not locked into a single network. Whether the payment settles on Solana, an EVM chain, or another supported network, the integration surface stays the same.
For HoloWorld, this meant wiring payments into HoloLaunch without rebuilding their stack. For any developer or platform evaluating x402, the path from decision to live payments is measured in minutes.
What this makes possible
This launch reflects a broader shift toward per-action, per-access payment models. Rather than bundling everything into subscriptions, platforms can monetize at the exact point of interaction, whether that's a token launch, gated content, a digital pass, API access, or event entry.
FightID is the first x402-powered project on HoloLaunch, but it sets the precedent for every launch that follows. Any project can now use PayAI as their facilitator through x402, with stablecoin settlement, public transaction visibility, and a one-tap user flow from day one.
As adoption of the x402 standard grows, PayAI is positioned to be the facilitator that makes it work reliably at scale.
